AGRAN drying and polishing granules, the favorite material of the optical industry for surface drying and polishing

Corn cob granules are highly preferred in the drying process, and polishing granules are used in disc finishing machines, dry grinding and dry polishing processes. Depending on the process to be performed using polishing granules, grinding or polishing paste should be added. Walnut shells are generally used in the final polishing process. Walnut shells are preferred in all of the polishing and etching processes for eyeglass frames and watch parts. The most important reason why they are preferred in soft metals is that they do not cause surface hardening due to their low density. Granules are generally used in processes such as drying, polishing, deburring, rust removal, degreasing, corner breaking, oxide opening of soft metal (gold, silver, brass, zamak, copper, etc.) and plastic-based materials. The size and type of granules suitable for the structure of the material to be applied and the type of process are selected. Suitable material can be selected among walnut shell granules, corn cob granules, hazelnut shell granules, apricot kernel shell granules. The desired granule type, different sizes and quantities can be produced within our company. You can contact us for more detailed information.
